Where You’re Heard respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal and health information you share with me.

What information do I collect?

I collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide counselling, manage appointments, communicate with you and maintain appropriate client records. This may include your name and contact details, information provided during counselling, and relevant health and wellbeing information.

How your information is used and stored

Your information is kept confidential and used only for purposes connected with providing and managing your counselling services, unless I am legally required to disclose information, such as a response to a court subpoena or where necessary to address a serious and imminent risk to life, health or safety.

Client records and other personal information are stored securely. I use trusted digital services, including Halaxy for client management and appointments, Google Workspace for business email and documents, and Squarespace to operate this website. These services may involve information being stored or processed outside Australia.

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information I hold about you.

If you have questions or concerns about how your information is handled, please contact me at welcome@whereyoureheard.com.au. I will respond to privacy concerns in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

Where You’re Heard operates in accordance with the relevant PACFA ethical standards.
